DMG Turf – Producers of high quality Fescue, Centipede, Zoysia, and Tifway 419 Bermuda
DMG Turf and Farms has been blessed to share in a farming tradition for five generations. David and his wife Betty bought and began farming David’s family land in 1970. Their youngest son, Clay, began farming full time with them in 1998. In the fall of 1999, DMG Turf started out with 23 acres of Fescue sod which has now grown to over 700 acres with five varieties of grasses including Triple Threat Performance Tall Grass Fescue, Centipede, Zoysia Compadre, and a certified grass, Tifway 419 Bermuda. With more than 40 years of combined experience farming sod on land that has been in the family for more than 100 years, it’s no wonder that DMG Turf is a leader in the region’s turf industry.
If you stop by our farm you can still see the Gardner Family including Clay, his wife Denise, and their four children, working on the farm to ensure expectations are met and that the highest quality is maintained.
And you might be interested to know that DMG Turf and Farms also produces sweetpotatoes, watermelons, and soybeans as well as turf grass. Check back with us to find out when our next crops will be ready for sale!
